"Nashville" had to leave us...... last picture taken on the airport. I'm always very nervous concerning the long trip, until I receive the information the dog arrived safe & healthy :
Finally Nash is home! The trip was wonderful and he traveled in the cabin of Mr. XXXX.
Once the plane was landed the TAM staff took him in the plane and went directly to the agricultural department and 10 minutes later he was in my arms.
THANK YOU AGAIN, HE IS WONDERFUL!!!! I LOVED him and I am VERY happy with him and proud to have a Solino's Crested here, specially for being a Rocky son.
I will take some pictures and send it to you soon.

Judge was Secretary of Chinese Crested Dog Club -Breed Specialist Linda Biss

I got the information from a very excited owner. Noriko had her show debut in Maastricht.
This little girl is nearly 5 months old and won her class and ended up in the ring of honor with BBIS 3 out of 34 dogs.

Instead of spending our free time at boring dog shows we and the dogs had much more fun at obedience and agility. It is amazing to recognize their natural talent. Rocky and Gucci are real proofs.

My friend Gracey and I flew from Ohio to NY City today to pick up our lovely boy that flew in from Germany....."Solino's Nothing But Versace" We had such a lovely day and had the privilege of meeting Bill &
Amy Thompson as they were there also picking up Nitro, Versace's brother. We enjoyed their company and finally getting to meet them in person. And I can't thank Iris enough for letting us bring this beautiful
boy home to live with us!! We're so very excited to have him!

Just few months ago we picked up the cutest pup in N.Y.....where is the time running ?
Now "Hurricane" was entered the first time under the special judge P.Machetanz in the junior class in Germany. "Hurricane" did great and won his first junior award.

Almost weekly I get updates from Linda, (UK) she is consistent to showing “Letterman” and she is inebriated by success, Linda is always doing a great job with him.

Went to Birmingham Champ Show today with tickets. Jay won 2nd... and he got the Good Citizen Bronze Award. I am so proud of that lovely dog. I love him.

Jay won 1st in Open and Best of Breed. Then he competed in a toy group of 15 toy dogs and won third in the toy group! Go there Jay.He is a wonderful boy. |

The time is running so fast, Solino's Member of Mohawk aka Smarty is just born 10 months ago and now he earned his first Champion title from Montenegro and ended up this show with BOB.

I also showed Rocky in Croatia, I entered him to all 4 midnight shows there ( Thursday till Sunday), he was showed in Croatia so far two times and won the awards. To fulfill his Champion title of Croatia we needs 4 awards, two
from a national show and two from the international show.
On Thursday, Rocky won the CAC ended up with BOS.
On Friday, the Cresteds starts 11 p.m. , Rocky won the CAC, CACIB ended up with BOB and is now Champion of Croatia too :-) Thank you Mr. T.Skaar and P. Stanton (S)
So we deceided to relax the other days, without shows. Rocky enjoyed the time on the beach as well and he got the best Steak for the dinner. He was everybodys darling in the hotel and stays there as a VIP guest.

Latest News from UK, Solino’s Love Intrigue aka Spicy, first time in the ring:
Just to let you know Spicy did very well at his first show. South Wales Kennel Association Championship show.
I entered him in the Junior class........................he won it !!!!!!!!!!!! He looked stunning.
Lots of very nice complements about him. He stood like a statue on the table, and moved like a dream.
I am so pleased how his first show went. He has qualified for Crufts first time out.

Only got the second place in his group at an outdoorshow in theNetherlands.Vivien, he looks very nice and thank you so much for the lovely home you offer the boy.
At the Copenhagen Winner 2008 Solino’s Kenzo won CAC and ended up with BOB :-) Judge was Mrs. Esther Josef from Australia, there where 44 Cresteds entered.
Solino’s Label won the junior class out of 12, she was the youngest and only female who got an excellent.
Huge congratulation to Henrik and welcome back in the showring Jesper, we are thrilled for you both !!

Last weekend Linda picked up her boy, he was entered to his first show today, only few days for this little boy to learn all about the new home and other dogs....and his new mom :-)
It was Southern Counties Champ Show and the judge was Tom Isherwood of the famous Vanitona kennel.
" Jay" won 2 nd best puppy, he did very behaved and Linda is very proud of him.

When Tiger met Speedy" & "Steven met Trude!!"
Last weekend 2 handsome boys took a trip to the Netherlands to meet some lovely girls!!! Both of these boys are very special to me, as they were born in my home.
Tiger is my happy, good looking Chinese Crested boy who has gone to live with his new girlfriend Speedy. His co-driver for this great trip was another happy good looking guy - my son Steven, who drove with Tiger to meet Speedy's very special owner Trude.
As you can see, both boys had a great week with the girls! Thank you Steven for taking Tiger & thank you Trude & Geneva for giving him such a lovely home. |

She got the Cert (CAC) and went BOB on saturday 24/5-08 and went 2 best female on sunday. We are so proud of her :D
The judge was John Muldoon on saturday and Birte Scheel on sunday.

Label was showed the second time Int.DKK Show in DK. Henrik wrote me:
Label was just a pearl in the ring she showed like a true beauty.
The judge was Kitty Sjong from Denmark
Label was enterd in the Junior class, she got Excelent and won here class then she got the certificat has the only bitch in all classes, and then i had to show here in the BOB / BOS and Label got BOS The BOB was Prefix Trafalgar.

In exactly three weeks both boys have to leave us, it will be hard to let them go
Iris he is beautiful, I would think twice before let him go. But still you have the father and he is just a like a crown jewel, a TOP stud - a TOP producer, that leaves his mark in each every pup he sires, and they are so easy to recognize. That is a quality hard to find. And after all what all wish for our breeding.

The „ High Five „ are born at Solino’s, mother and five kids very fat and healthy are doing fine, the birth weight was between 5,9 oz and 7,3 oz. The litter is out of Darling and Rocky. Pictures coming soon. |

Today it was the first time in this year for Rocky back in the ring. To fulfil the rules for the VDH Championtitle and for the German Championtitle we need 5 awards and between the first and the last award we have a waiting time of 366 days.
Needless to say Rocky needs only 5 shows to get all awards, he got the first end of March last year and today was the first possibility .......YEAH and he did it. He is really a GREAT Contender, thank you so much Bill & Amy Thompson , for a dream come true. |

After a 4 months break we started showing some of our kids again. Joya and Trinity did great today and both won their class but our youngster Kimiko, who had his showdebut today, ended up being BOB at the young age of ten months! |

Past weekend some of the Solino's pups did very well on shows.
On the Int.dogshow in Leiden (Nl) "Solino's Little Mister N° One" at his very first dog show ended up Best Pup of breed. A "Big N° One"... :-) Judge was Mr. Nethercott (UK). Big congrats to Vivien, she owns and loves this boy.-)
Jackpot in Australia got the next CC & ru BOB and Solino's Jacqui O. won second best female in Norway. Label had her showdebut as well in Denmark and became Best Puppy AND BISpup 3, Hendrik did a great job! Kenzo got the second place in the Juniorclass, great handling by Klaus.
Earlier Solino's Long Daz Into Night aka Speedy had her first show in Leiden (Nl) where she as well became Best Pup of breed.

We had a most marvelous time in New York City but with all the talk of Westminster and seeing so many dogs I forgot to mention our most special
"Hurricane".
When my Rocky was just a little puppy I chose him at five weeks old, and so I have chosen another little boy to come and be part of our family. We are very thankful to Bill and Amy for their care, concern and honesty. It is so nice to work with breeders with ethics that then become your
friend.
We hope to make our new little family member just as famous as Rocky for Rocky is known world wide. But more than that, Rocky has taken my heart and I am sure that this new little guy will do the same...steal our hearts. |

After the great start of Solino’s Jackpot, aka Jack, living in Australia with my friend Vicki, I received the following e-mail from South Africa and want to share, sometimes it seems the world is very small.
I am so excited to tell you. I was at the show yesterday and was chatting to a friend and very high profile judge here, who has just returned from judging in Australia. She mentioned that her CC dog was the most magnificent Crested. I said it must be a dog my friend Iris bred " Jack " and yes it was. How wonderful !! Huge Congrats !! I just knew it was him :-))
I had the picture of Blondi with me, and showed her, she thought she was magnificent too!
