Always look at quality and the ethics of the breeder ... then comes their 'respectibility'
We are Hermann & Iris Schultz, we are located in the near of Germany's capitol Berlin.
The first time I encountered a Crested was back in 1987... from the beginning on I fell in love with these outgoing creatures and finally ended up with a little hairless male "Piccolo". He was a pet and friend in our family. Seven years after Piccolo joined our family I bought a hairless bitch which loved the showring so much that she easily passed a successful show carreer. She was my foundation dog when I started to breed in 2003. I learned a lot about Chinese Cresteds and developed my own personal idea of Chinese Crested show dogs. As my personal demands on a Crested went higher by the time I was not able to find a suitable dog here in Germany. I spend hours in front of the computer, surfed through the World Wide Web and finally decided to import ... We would like to send out a special Thank You to Bill & Amy of Legends for entrusting us with this special little boy Rocky. We will be forever grateful.
The Chinese Crested breed is very special and not compareble to any other breed. In foreground my dogs are treatened like family members. I just have a couple of them to be able to let each dog stay in the centre of attention. This is why I only breed 2 or 3 litters per year.
Although people maybe think this strange, they get the attention of a human being. The dogs rule my daily life and make it richer than anything else. I can't imagine to live without these creatures and I'm sure many other people think the same way.
And not to forget my great showteam:
- Christina, my angel and big help in my own shop when I am at shows or wait for puppies. I could do nothing without her;
- of course my co-owner and best friend Janina, I adore her like my own daughter;
- my lovely and patient son Steven, he watches the dogs if we are at shows;
- my lovely hubby Hermann with all his patience;
- and finally my webmaster Wendy of fullmonty.nl, she always does a great job with my site.
